Elder Austin Turner
Austin Turner carries a heart for people, discipleship, and the transforming presence of God. Born in San Diego, California, he was raised in a bilingual, dual-culture home and moved to Las Vegas with his family in 2009. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Austin has a deep desire to connect with and serve people from all walks of life.
At a young age, Austin sensed a call to ministry and has continued to faithfully walk that out. He has a passion for presence-driven ministry and for seeing the Church grow in spiritual health, unity, and maturity. With a strong appreciation for the Five-Fold Ministry, Austin values the biblical roles that help equip and strengthen the body of Christ. He especially enjoys studying spiritual leadership and is committed to encouraging, supporting, and praying for others as they grow in their calling.
Austin’s life is also a testimony of God’s faithfulness in family. He met his wife, Alexandria, in the 7th grade—where she boldly shared that one day they would be married. Years later, that promise came to pass, and together they have built a beautiful family with two energetic children. Their marriage reflects God’s goodness, redemptive power, and sustaining grace through every season.
In addition to serving as an Elder and communicator at Calvary Chapel New Beginnings, Austin works in the construction industry as a Heavy Equipment Operator specializing in underground utilities and grading. He approaches both his work and ministry with diligence and a heart to serve.
Austin also carries a strong gift of hospitality and loves bringing people together. Whether through small groups, home gatherings, times of worship, or simply spending time outdoors, he is passionate about creating spaces where people can connect, grow, and encounter God. He believes some of the best moments in life are shared with good people, good food, and a great God.
