Pillars of the Church

Honor – “Assigning Heavens Value” to a person, place, or thing regardless of our personal experiences. (John 5:23; 1 Peter 2:17; 1 Peter 3:7; Exodus 20:12; Romans 12:9-10)

Submission – “We Fight For Unity” A heart fully surrendered to God’s will over one’s personal will. Trusting that God truly orders your footsteps, erects spiritual leaders, and has good plans and higher ways. (James 4:7; Hebrews 13:17; 1 Peter 2:13-17; Ephesians 5:21-24)

Transparency – “Leaning Into The Awkward.” Leaning into the awkward in Spirit and in Truth to foster and cultivate Trust. (Matthew 5:23-24; Matthew 18:15-21; Galatians 6:1)

Mercy – “Forgiveness Is Not An Option” for those who have experienced total forgiveness. Jesus paid it all. Freely forgive just as you have been freely forgiven. God first chose to show mercy, then grace followed. (Micah 6:8)

Identity – “Made AS God’s Image bearers” In a social culture and a country that says, “we can be whatever we want to be,’ we identify with the Blood Bought Children of God saved unto Himself for a purpose. Our identity is in Christ and Christ only. We don’t live by what man says about us, but by who God the Father calls us. (Genesis 1:27; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 2:9; John 1:12; 1 Corinthians 12:27)

Stewardship – “It Will Never Be Mine, It Will Always Be Yours.” A heart that acknowledges that everything belongs to the Lord, yet He entrusts us with dominion. Stewardship is the biblical response to what He has entrusted to us. (Genesis 1:1; Romans 11:36; Psalm 24:1; James 1:17)

Relationships – “Love God, Love People.” People are at the heart of God, with a Diversity of gifting’s, callings, personalities, and experiences all culminate to form the body of Christ. Unity in relationship is the only way to complete lasting good works and the perfect will of God. (John 3:16; Romans 12:9; Galatians 5:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7; Proverbs 17:17; Proverbs 27:17; 1 Peter 4:8)

Leadership – “Our Heart, Your Mind.” We empower those with our heart to lead with their mind. We trade empowerment for teachability and humility. (Philippians 2:3; Proverbs 11:14; Exodus 18:13-26; 1 Peter 5:2-3)
